Alu foil facing is generally laminated with glass wool or rock wool blanket and board etc . It works as an ideal jacket to protect insulation materials and enhance their insulation effect . The pin-hole can work effectively for sound insulation . The foil works as a barrier to reflect up to 95% of radiant heat entering . It’s effect is especially significant when the facing is applied to your roof cavity. Of course , as all jackets do , the facing can also protect the insulation materials from physical damages.
This facing is heat-sealing . It can adhere to the insulation materials directly . No extra adhesive is needed .
