Alu foil facing is generally laminated with glass wool or rock wool blanket , board , and pipe etc . It works as an ideal jacket to protect insulation materials and enhance their insulation effect . For example , it works as vapor barrier to keep the insulation materials from condensation .Then keep the insulation materials’ good R-value . The foil works as a barrier to reflect up to 95% of radiant heat entering . It’s effect is especially significant when the facing is applied to your roof cavity. Of course , as all jackets do , the facing can also protect the insulation materials from physical damages.
This facing is heat-sealing . It can adhere to the insulation materials directly . No extra adhesive is needed .
